Back the Pack 2024

Hey Windom families! It’s time to mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Back the Pack Fundraising adult night out.

Last year our incredible community proudly raised over $25,000 in just one night and we cannot wait to see what this year brings. Join us on April 20th from 6:30pm-10:30pm for a chance to win raffle items, bid on amazing local auction items, meet new families and show your little wolves the proud pack that we are! Stay tuned for more information coming out next week as our website goes live!

Windom Spring Celebration

Save the Date for the 2024 Windom Spring Celebration/Carnival, on 5/18/2024. The PTO sponsors an annual Spring Celebration each year.  This is a free event for Windom kids, families, caregivers and the community. It was great success last year and we need help to ensure this year is just as great.

If you are interested in helping with planning please email windompto@gmail.com for more information.

Fun Run 2023

The Fall Fun Run is the first PTO fundraiser of the year. Each fall, the PTO works with Mr. Loichle, the teachers and staff to help the students exercise, have fun and raise money for the school!

Our goal is to help all students get the best education and school experience possible and ensure they have the tools they need to learn and grow. All students are included in CARES program & rewards, as well as the fitness events regardless of financial participation in the fundraiser.

Stay tuned for details on the 2024 Fall Fun Run!

Science Fair

The Southwest High robotics team is interested in building interest and excitement in robotics starting in elementary school. They will be coming to Windom each fall  and working with interested 4th and 5th graders on a science project. They'll help the Windom students learn how to pick a project, plan the work and present the outcomes. Students present results at the Science Fair in December. Stay tuned for more information coming this fall.

Book Swap

The Windom Book Swap encourages kids and families to donate books already read, which are made available as "new to me" for other kids to take.

Coming Spring 2254, the PTO will reach out to you when it's time to help clear the shelves!  New and used children's books appropriate for kindergarten through 5th graders. Beginning chapter books, graphic novels, books from a series, nonfiction books, and picture books are all welcomed!
