Walk/Bike/Roll to school
Fall Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day is Wednesday, October 8th 2025
The Windom Community School will join students, families, and staff across the nation to celebrate walking, biking and rolling to school. All events--big or small-- make a real difference in the health and connectedness of our community. Look for a volunteer sign up for opportunities to help make it a fun and safe morning.

Windom Open House
Thursday, August 28th from 4-6pm
Come and meet your teachers, see the school, bring any supplies you want to drop off before the first day, and stop by the PTO table for shirts and information!

Windom is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair!

50% of in person sales and 25% of online sales go directly back to our teachers to buy books for their classrooms!

The awesome Robotics Team from Southwest High is on a mission to spark curiosity and creativity—starting right here at Windom! Each fall, team members will be visiting to work with interested 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders on a hands-on science adventure.
Students will get to dream up their own project, plan it like real scientists, and show off their amazing results. It’s a fun, inspiring way to explore science, tech, and robotics—with high school mentors cheering you on every step of the way!
Book Swap

We’re collecting gently used kids' books — picture books, chapter books, graphic novels & more!
Every Windom student will get to take home books — no donation required.

5th annual Windom Spring Celebration in May of 2026!

All are welcome! Free food, games, prizes, snow cones, dunk tank, community tables, and so much more!! Even a Scholastic Book Fair. We'll need a ton of volunteers to make it a success!
