Book Swap
Book collection: 1/13-1/23/25
Collection bins will be located near the main office and near door #8 (bus enterance)
New and used children's books appropriate for kindergarten through 5th graders. Beginning chapter books, graphic novels, books from a series, nonfiction books, and picture books are all welcomed!
Distribution will be 2/10-2/13 during school.
Volunteer to help sort, organize, and set up.

Windom Spring Celebration
Save the Date for the 2025 Windom Spring Celebration, on 5/17/2025. This is a free event for Windom kids, families, caregivers and the community. It has been great success and we need help to ensure this year is just as great.

First the Windom staff will present all you need to know about our wonderful community school and then a current Windom parent will show you around. All intersted incoming students and families are welcome!

Scholastic Book Fair
Windom is hosting a Scholastic Book Fair!
Coming again in the spring of 2025!
50% of in person sales and 25% of online sales go directly back to our teachers to buy books for their classrooms!
Walk/Bike/Roll to school
The first Walk & Roll to School Day of the 2024-2025 school year is Wednesday, October 9th. The Windom Community School will join students, families, and staff across the nation to celebrate walking, biking and rolling to school. All events--big or small-- make a real difference in the health and connectedness of our community. Look for a volunteer sign up for opportunities to help make it a fun and safe morning.
Science Fair

The Southwest High robotics team is interested in building interest and excitement in science and robotics starting in elementary school. They will be coming to Windom each fall and working with interested 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders on a science project. They'll help the Windom students learn how to pick a project, plan the work, and present the outcomes.
